This is a mechanic you can actually trust. They provide pics, videos and will explain everything in detail. They color code which repairs are urgent and what can wait until later. Phil is usually working the front desk and is super friendly and knowledgeable. I've taken all 4 of my vehicles to them. Very happy with the work.

My family has been taking our cars to Jack Dane Auto for many years. We have always been very satisfied with their work. They are polite, pleasant, and as an older woman I have never felt patronized or talked down to just because I don't know automotive lingo. I feel they are very honest and trustworthy.

As the original owner of a 1987 SR5 Toyota truck, I'm particular about who services it. Turns out, I have a classic vehicle. Gets lots of attention. As you can imagine, I've had a number of auto shops work on it since I bought it. Jack's may be the best, which is saying something. Can't say enough about how Phil (and Jack) have looked after my Toyota. My latest experience, involving a new engine installation, seems to have revitalized the "pick-up" in my pick-up. She's driving with renewed vigor. So yes. I recommend Jack's for your auto service.

These guys are fantastic and I can't recommend them enough. It's the second car I've taken to them and both times they did not disappoint. Phil runs a tip-top shop. He's knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and a strait-shooter. Their customer service is superior with up front and honest quotes, important and timely updates about progress (or when a new problem was discovered that needed customer approval), and efficient work that was completed on time as predicted. I'm unlikely to ever take my vehicle to a dealer shop again.

Friendly, patient, professional, thorough, and affordable service! It was my first time. I wanted a complete safety check since I started long-distance travels. I didn't want my car to break down in the middle of nowhere due to lack of maintenance and I didn't want to be forced to find any service because I'm in the middle of nowhere with a broken car. I wanted to build a maintenance plan with a lookahead schedule so that I can have a better control. Phil was courteous and said the comprehensive check was free. When the inspection was done, the inspection report was clear and thorough. The cloud-based dynamic communication system was easy and informative. The recommended maintenance was broken into urgency levels - which was clear and helpful. All recommendations were explained to me written and verbally and the prices were reasonable. Originally I was going to have only the inspection done, but it felt doable to get all the work done the same day. I'm glad I found a good auto service shop in Sacramento.
