They got my truck on the road after 2 trips in. Did not receive new customer discount advertised on website, so be sure to ask for it. Got Spark plugs replaced, left with Alternator issue… figured they would’ve noticed that before I left that first time. Overall decent customer service, but you WILL pay for it, possibly twice.

I just had my Jeep serviced at Jack Dane Auto Service. Phillip was very friendly and professional. He explained what needed to be done and made recommendations for additional work but was very clear that it was up to me. There was no pressure. Just a bonus that they have Chaz in the lobby as a greeter:)

Daphne, thank you so much for your business and the review. Regards, Jack, Chaz and the crew.

Jack Dane was highly recommended by a friend. I'm very happy I brought my Tiguan here. Mike was very professional and kept me updated with the status and pictures. I will be bringing my car here for any future repair. Thanks to all of you who fixed my car...much appreciated.

They were respectful, open and honest about issues. Never tried to sell me anything I didn’t want and also were very timely on their work. They send u an invoice through text to confirm work needed done and also take care of payment over the phone. Overall was a great experience and expect to bring my car back each time.

I had called Jack Dane to get estimate on the phone as I already knew what the problem was. The estimate was roughly 2K worst case but after paying $200 for them to tell me the same thing I already knew, their price to fix was $700 over then the dealership ($3800)plus the $200 evaluation fee. A far cry from the over the phone estimate. Needless to say, I didn't have them fix the car. Thank goodness I was only out the $200. I would never use them due to extremely high pricing and the bait and switch from phone to in person. I even told them the dealership was lower but not willing to negotiate either.

Update, the owner did contact me and refund me the fee to evaluate the problem. He was very professional however the cost was still significantly higher than the dealer. I recommend price shop. I change to two stars being he refunded me and his professionalism. I would not go higher in rating due to the estimate on the phone and almost double once I brought it. We are sorry for your experience. Most of the time we can beat the dealer's quote even with OE parts, by going through suppliers that have OE parts, but some jobs require us to source those parts through the dealer. In this particular case to supply an OE grade part we needed to purchase it from the dealer, it also required to be reprogrammed with the most recent update. Those two factors made our quote higher than the dealer as we had to go through them. Also when someone calls for a quote we stress that to give an accurate quote we need the vehicle to inspect it and have time to generate an accurate quote.

Excellent service. This shop takes your car in the morning, and I have never not gotten my car back the same day. They're excellent. Good workmanship, fair pricing.

The labor costs with this place are through the roof. Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to take my car to another place. My wallet is a lot lighter than it should be. I would not recommend.

My apologies for your experience. I would love to talk with you on how we determine our labor quotes, but I couldn't find your name in our database for either our Rocklin or Sacramento locations (Jack Dane Auto Service). If you reach out, I will gladly review your invoice and all the charges. Our labor charges are carefully calculated. We employ ASE master technicians, use O.E. grade parts and have a very long warranty. All these factors, plus inflation and the labor market are the reasons shops charge what they currently charge. We charge what is appropriate to maintain our high standards and deliver quality auto repair. Without knowing what the customer name was on the invoice, I can not review it to give you a more detailed account. Again please reach out and I will gladly look over all the charges and see if a mistake did happen. Regards, Philip Owner Jack Dane Auto Service

Took our 2010 Honda Odyssey to get the sliding doors that no longer opened repaired and some leaks checked out and fixed. Reasonably priced and great communication, will be taking our cars from now on.

Thank you kindly for the review and your business! Regards, Jack and the crew.
