The team at Jack Dane are great technicians, honest and easy to work with. I have serviced all my Japanese vehicles at Jack Dane for years and am well satisfied with the value I have received.

Couldn't get an estimate for the work I needed to have done on my vehicle. Guess they are too busy. Only wanted a quick estimate to see if it was worth the cost, or just do the work myself. Tried to tell me they "had to see it before giving quote". Wrong attitude for me.

My apologies Ron, but it should be known that we don't write estimates, or begin repairs, without inspecting the vehicle and there is a very good reason for that. When we write an estimate we want it to be accurate and not a wasted endeavor. An inaccurate estimate is frustrating for both parties. That is why, even though we know some find it frustrating, we do not write estimates without inspecting the vehicle. Some people appreciate this, for others it's an inconvenience. For those that appreciate it, we are here to put in the effort to get it right the first time. We don't charge to write estimates, but we do need time to generate an accurate estimate. So if you can give us time with your vehicle, we can invest that time in generating an accurate quote. If that is too inconvenient, then there many shops that will generate estimates without inspecting the vehicle, and that's a good thing too. I would like to say that I have never experienced such excellent customer service from an auto repair shop in all my many years of being a car owner. I was unable to come in person to the shop due to unforseen issues, but they were more than willing to accept the car from the tow truck. They were very communicative and called or texted me during all the major stages of the process. Phil was awesome. He was very honest and upfront with me regarding the costs and diagnosis. He provided multiple options for service and explained the difference of each option and what they would entail. Not once did he speak to me as if I was a child, but he also made the language clear and for a lay person. He emailed me detailed quotes, that left no guessing about prices or cost. I appreciate them and their work, and I will definitely be back for regular maintenance.

Fast and friendly service. Able to find the issue quickly and provided the best solution relatively pain free! Definitely will be back with any other future car issues.

Wanted to get established with a local shop with my new(ish) car. Initially just wanted to get an inspection but also added in an oil change to get started. Great initial experience, good looking shop, inviting people, prompt service. Nobody likes to put a car in a shop and have to spend money but I feel good about Jack Dane and plan to use them for my family car needs. I like supporting an honest, local independent shop as much as possible.

I think they do a very great job servicing my AC, Trans, alignment and oil change. Note they are not the cheapest. I wouldn't go here if you are looking for maintenance on your vehicle. Oil Change is 4 times the average. Transmission is twice the cost and labor is higher than standards.

Thanks Larry, it should be noted that our base service is not an "oil change", it's far more than that. With our service a Master Tech is test driving your vehicle, performing a thorough inspection (shaking down wheel bearings, inspecting u-joints, cv joints, hoses, etc.) and performing an alignment check. Our Master techs can identify issues before they advance in to more costly or damaging issues. This is far more in depth service than you get at a quick lube or tire store, or even the dealership's quick lube service. We feel it as a great value for the peace of mind you receive from having a master tech assessing the condition of your vehicle, bi annually.
