Did a timing belt change with water pump and pulleys and oil pan reseal. Prices were ok as long as the Honda minivan continues to run for a good while. I do like to get as low of a price as possible but I am willing to pay a bit more if there is an assurance of quality, and so far, 2 months after the job, the minivan still runs fine.

Edit: Minivan is still working as of 6/2/24 (timing belt job was done Feb 2021) so far so good! No noticeable oil leakage/consumption either, oil level seems to stay nearly constant between changes.

Searched for auto repair and Jack Dane’s shop had 5 stars so made appt and told Mike my problem. They did complete diagnostic and found a few more problems that my 10 year old vehicle had to be safe and up to Ca code. The long and short version is, I approved the repairs and when I got it back it was like a new car! Jack Danes is the place to take your vehicle for superior work and fair prices! I give them 10+ stars!!!
